Treatments

Treatments

Q. I think I have a cavity. What should I do?

We'll examine your teeth carefully and recommend the best treatment for the size and location of the cavity. We prioritize minimally invasive options.

Q. How often should I get a dental cleaning?

We generally recommend every 6 months. After your check-up, we'll suggest a schedule that suits your oral health needs.

Q. Is teeth whitening safe?

Yes, when done professionally with quality products. We'll check your oral health first to make sure whitening is right for you.

Q. Why would I need a crown?

Crowns protect teeth that are significantly damaged or weakened after root canal treatment. We always aim to preserve as much natural tooth as possible.

Q. Does getting an implant hurt?

The procedure is performed under proper anesthesia, so discomfort during treatment is minimal. We'll guide you through post-care as well.

Q. Do I need to have my wisdom teeth removed?

Not always. We'll take X-rays and assess whether they're causing issues before recommending removal.

Q. When is root canal treatment necessary?

When decay has reached the nerve inside a tooth. Root canal treatment can often save a tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted.

Q. My gums bleed when I brush. Is that normal?

Bleeding gums can be an early sign of gum disease. An examination can help identify the cause so we can address it early.

Q. I chipped my front tooth. Can it be fixed?

Depending on the extent of the chip, we can restore it with bonding, veneers, or a crown to look natural again.

Q. What's the difference between veneers and crowns?

Veneers cover the front surface of a tooth, while crowns cover the entire tooth. We'll recommend the best option based on your situation.

Q. What types of orthodontic treatment do you offer?

We can discuss traditional braces, ceramic braces, and clear aligners. A consultation will help determine the best fit for you.

Q. Do you offer clear aligners?

Yes, clear aligner consultations are available. We'll assess your teeth first to confirm if you're a good candidate.

Q. My dentures are uncomfortable. Are there alternatives?

Implant-supported options may provide a more comfortable and stable solution. We'll review your situation and discuss what's possible.

Q. What is a dental bridge?

A bridge fills the gap of a missing tooth using the teeth on either side for support. It's a reliable option when implants aren't suitable.

Q. Do you treat children?

Yes, we welcome young patients. We take a gentle, patient approach to help children feel safe and comfortable.

Q. Why are my teeth sensitive?

Sensitivity can result from enamel wear, gum recession, or other causes. We'll identify the reason and recommend the right treatment.

Q. Can you continue treatment I started elsewhere?

Of course. Bring any records you have, and we'll review your previous treatment to provide seamless continuity of care.

Q. What does a dental check-up include?

A thorough oral examination and X-rays as needed. We'll explain everything we find in clear, simple terms.

Q. How do you manage pain during treatment?

We use effective local anesthesia and gentle techniques. If you feel anxious, let us know and we'll adjust our approach.

Q. I have a toothache right now. Can I come in urgently?

We do our best to accommodate urgent cases. Please call us so we can arrange the earliest available appointment.
